About the Confederation

The National Association of Employers’ Organizations "Confederation of Employers of Ukraine" was established on July 20, 2006 in accordance with the Law of Ukraine on Employers’ Organizations to represent and protect the interests of employers, employers’ organizations and their associations in economic, social and labour relations,to defend their legal rights and interests and to ensure the development of social dialogue in Ukraine.

The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine registered the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine on September 19, 2006 and issued a State Registration Certificate No. 2527.

The Confederation of Employers of Ukraine is a non-profit non-governmental organization that brings togethersector all-Ukrainian associations of Oblast employers’ organizations, whose member enterprises employ more than 989 thousand people (Certificate of the National Mediation and Conciliation Service No.015/21-00-Н of 02.11.2021). In order to represent the interests of its members, the Confederation is a party to the social dialogue at the national level and represents the interests of member organizations in relations with the Government and trade unions.

The Confederation is based on the principles of legality, lack of political bias, voluntary accession and freedom of secession, equality of members, independence, transparency and responsibility for the implementation of commitments made.

The Confederation is an active member of the regional and international employers’ movement, established constructive relations with the International Organization of Employers, BUSINESSEUROPE, the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), employers’ organizations in many countries.
