The Confederation of Employers of Ukraine and the State Service of Ukraine on Labor Issues signed a memorandum on joint efforts aimed at increasing the productive employment of the population, in particular, through the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market. In the conditions of a growing shortage of labor resources, this group of workers is a significant reserve for the recovery of the country's economy.
The Confederation of Employers of Ukraine and State Service of Ukraine on Labor Issues agreed that they will jointly work on changes to the labor legislation, in particular, those related to the work of persons with disabilities, as well as increase the level of awareness of society and business about programs, the implementation of which will reduce the shortage of personnel.
The parties also agreed to exchange information and organize joint events. The partnership also provides support for the implementation of international and national projects aimed at increasing the level of productive employment of persons with disabilities.
"Close cooperation between employers and the State Labor Service will facilitate the employment of persons with disabilities, improve the legislation and reduce the number of inspections on this issue," said Oleksii Miroshnychenko, President of the Confederation of Employers of Ukraine.
Ihor Degnera emphasized that strengthening cooperation with social partners for the sake of developing the labor potential of the country in the conditions of war is extremely important.
